Advantages Over Traditional On-Site Insulation
Prefabricated above-ground insulated steam pipes are manufactured under controlled factory conditions, reducing on-site installation work, improving construction efficiency, and significantly shortening the overall project schedule.
For a 1 km above-ground pipeline, traditional methods require 1,000 m of on-site insulation. In comparison, prefabricated insulated pipes require only about 50 m of on-site insulation—covering approximately 100 pipe joints—greatly accelerating project completion.

Traditional insulated pipes require on-site insulation installation, resulting in complex construction and limited quality control.

Factory prefabrication ensures quality control throughout the entire production process.

Traditional insulated pipes use outer jackets assembled from color-coated steel or sheet metal. Gaps at the seams may allow air leakage and water ingress.

Prefabricated insulated pipes provide excellent waterproofing and a durable, attractive appearance.

Traditional insulation-wool and sheet-metal wrapping is prone to deformation.

The rigid base layer provides excellent resistance to deformation.

Traditional insulated pipe supports use thermal insulation blocks with relatively high thermal conductivity. Transverse gaps at the supports also allow heat to escape, resulting in additional heat loss.

The supports are installed outside the insulation layer, eliminating thermal bridges.
